The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support for our customers through phone and e-mail communications as well as on-site visits. Summary:

Welder is responsible for welding and fabrication to specific product drawing requirements for equipment to ultimately be used in the Mining and Mineral processing industry as well as the Oil and Gas industry.  Responsibilities can include working on the automated welding line or on the custom fabrication side which entails working to ensure proper safety and quality standards are met.  Lastly, they will be responsible for filling out appropriate documentation during the welding process.

Seeking an energetic and customer-oriented person to be responsible for assigned area field service and maintenance requirements, while actively pursuing service on assigned rigs. The Field Service associate will perform administrative duties and complete all tasks assigned to ensure efficient and effective business operations. Assist with all shop/warehouse duties when not in the field as directed by the Area manager.

    • Enter all required data in data base – unit numbers (MA numbers), screen frame numbers, recommended spares, condition of equipment, and photos
    • Daily service call will be handled by field service rep, with area managers exceptions
    • Weeknight service calls will be handled by the field service personnel area manager exceptions
    • Weekend service calls will be handled by the field service personnel on weekends, with area manger exceptions
    • Overnight travel is required to complete projects, as needed

The Digital Products Analyst is primarily responsible for assessing the value proposition of equipment across the entire spectrum of Derrick products with an emphasis on data collection, aggregation, analysis, and presentation. Additionally, coordination with oil and gas operators will be paramount to ensure accuracy of reporting.

The core position requirements are hands-on service work, equipment inspection, reporting, on-site troubleshooting and resolving issues with corrective action. This is a team environment that excels in superior communication between our customer base, sales department, technical service department, engineering department and management team.

 

This position entails specific background requirements that must be met. It must also be understood that this position requires both domestic and international travel, up to 30-50% of the time.

The technical service engineer is primarily responsible for providing application expertise across the entire spectrum of Derrick products. This position exposes the individual to many Derrick business units by working closely with Service, Sales (both international and domestic), Research and Development, and Product Evolution Teams. Expect to travel both domestically and internationally in support of Derrick operations. The qualified individual must be team-oriented, eager to learn, and have a burning desire to bring value to the organization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in engineering or technical
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfort in presenting in front of customers and
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related

Field Service – South Texas

Title:                            Field Service

Status:                         Full-Time

Work Location:             On-Site, Corpus Christi, TX

 

Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining Derrick solids control equipment on rigs in the south TX area as directed by the field manager. Perform administrative duties and complete all tasks assigned to ensure efficient and effective business operations. Assist with all shop/warehouse duties when not in the field as directed by the Field manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred, not required
  • Teamwork and the ability to work well with others
  • Strong desire for safety practices and following company policies and procedures as they pertain to safety
  • Remain current on and provide certification/documentation of completion of all required safety training courses
  • Ability to push/pull, walk, stand, kneel, and lift to 50 pounds

 

Requirements:

  • Conduct monthly inspections on all Derrick equipment utilized on rigs in your assigned area
    • Physically inspect all Derrick equipment on rig location
    • Recommend repairs as needed
    • Promote/sell parts necessary for repairs as well as offer to perform the needed repairs
    • Enter all required data in the database – unit numbers (MA numbers), screen frame numbers, recommended spares, condition of equipment, and photos
    • Daily service calls will be handled by field service, with area managers exceptions
    • Weeknight service calls will be handled by the field service person on call with area manager exceptions
    • Weekend service calls will be handled by the field service person on call for that weekend, with area manager exceptions
      • Includes, but is not limited to service repairs, screen box delivers, and shop assistance when required
  • Establish working relationships with key rig personnel within the assigned area
